Our dog treat pouch is compact, versatile and ideal dog training aid for rewarding your dog, which also works great as a dog walking accessory. Connect the treat pouch around the waist with the strap or remove the strap and attach to your belt with the rear single hooks or throw over your shoulder.

To make rewarding your dog as simple as possible, we use a magnetic open/close system and the lining of the pouch can be pulled up to wipe clean; we have also included a cord stopper closure system to shut tight as an additional option.

The dog treat pouch is fitted with waterproof zips and an accessory pocket at the front, as well as compartment in the rear to store your poop bags; you will be rest assured you can take all the dog training or dog walking essentials with you on your next walk or training session.

Having a reward in an easy-to-access treat pouch ensures you're rewarding 'em at the right time, every time. Some of the most common use-cases for treat pouches are dogs in obedience or agility training, puppies who are potty training, or dogs who need a little extra attention for loose-leash walks.

How will a dog treat pouch assist in dog training

Simply put, it will allow you to store treats and reinforce desired behaviour. Food is used as a reinforcer when training your dog. A reinforcer is something that causes the frequency of an action (or inaction) to increase. For example, every time you reinforce a sit position with a reward, you are increasing the likelihood that your dog will sit more often. For the vast majority of dogs, the reward of choice is food.

    Love the dog treat pouch

    Love the dog treat pouch from ACTIVEDOG! I had tried so many different options; restrictive or uncomfortable backpacks and bumbags, clip pouches that fall off and spill treats everywhere, openings that are either too big or too small and hard to get into...the list goes on. But this pouch is great! The treat section is large enough to get my hand in easily and the magnetic closure makes opening and closing super easy. I have a pocket for my phone, another for my keys and another for the poop bags. It also has three options for wearing it as an over the shoulder bag, a belt or clip on. I've only used it over the shoulder and I love it as I have everything I need and can get the treats easily. I also don't feel restricted as I do with backpacks etc so that makes our walks much more relaxing and comfortable. My dog knows when the ACTIVEDOG dog treat pouch comes out it's walkie time. She has even grabbed it herself a few times as a hint haha!
